AIR CONDITIONING UNITS
Air conditioning systems perform at their worst during the hottest days of summer—precisely when they are needed the most. Cooling capacity is reduced by 14–15%, while energy consumption increases by up to 31%. This strain occurs when the motors draw in already hot ambient air in an effort to convert it into cool air.
WHAT CHANGES WITH A MISTING SYSTEM
The misting system is installed around the perimeter of the units’ motors. This setup lowers the temperature of the air entering the motor. As a result, the intake air is significantly cooler than the ambient temperature, reducing motor strain and enabling the air conditioning unit to deliver cooler air to the space more efficiently. Consequently, system failures are minimized and energy consumption is dramatically reduced.
BENEFITS
- Reduction of ambient temperature by up to 12°C.
- Energy consumption reduced by up to 30%.
- Air conditioning efficiency increased by up to 30%.
- Extended lifespan of air conditioning units.
- Low operating cost.
- Easy installation.
